We are sure you have been in that moment when you were looking for a company to grab a beer and you couldn’t because none of your friends got off work early. When away from home, we find our family and friends both in our pets and dogs have proven to be the best friend of all. Also, sometimes we wish we could just open a can and share it with our furry friend. Because who knows, they might just need a refreshing drink like we do at the end of the day.
Thanks to Megan and Steve Long, now you can do that. They have come up with an idea of an all-natural, nonalcoholic beer for your dog. Good Boy Dog Beer is an idea that clicked them when their own 9-year-old dog, Rocky had some digestive issues.
The dog needed vitamins and proteins and it had to be in liquid form. Megan Long explained that the dog was sensitive to some particular foods and also had allergies. To counter his ailments they started making custom made treats for him and that is where the idea of dog beer came to life.
The brewery has come up with four different flavors and they are pork, chicken, veggie, and peanut. The names of the beers are both cute and funny at the same time: IPA Lot In The Yard, Mailman Malt Licker, Session Squirrel, and Crotch Sniffin’ Ale.
