Yes, you heard that right. The bright pink structure is the first portable piggy house in the world and can easily fit up to twelve people. However, the space is only meant for two people to sleep in. The cabin is well equipped with all the luxuries and necessities required for a night/weekend getaway. And although the cabin has been put in Bristol, it is entirely movable and can be shipped based on the customer’s demand, isn’t this a great idea and a genius theme? The bookings open for a few days every month.
The unique cabin was seen being marketed by the company’s PR team at various occasions and fests such as the Glastonbury. Rhona Fyfe, the brand manager of Orchard Pig in an interview mentioned that the idea was to club peoples’ love for the countryside, the traditional camping experience and the glamour of luxuries into one of a kind pod. The company has named this project as glamping or glamPIG. The aim is to drive the guest closer to the farmlands.
They promise the experience to be a once in a lifetime kind and as per their Airbnb advertisement, their pods are best for groups who enjoy something out of the box and for couples who need to spend some quality time together. The pod can be moved to the spot, the guest chooses. It has all the camping essentials but the importance of being close to Mother Nature has also been kept in mind.
The stay consists of full access to the cabin along with a special piggy blanket, weatherproofed facilities, festoon lightning, cooking gear, soft furnishings, and comfy sleeping bags. We’re sure these amenities are much more than your average tent, so when are you booking your trip?
