A Disneyland Made Of Lego Blocks
It was all an assortment of several little steps that made it to the apex. The upshot brought out is always due to thinking out of the caveats. For instance, let’s say, Walt Disney. You can envision the extensive breakthrough his efforts have brought in, as conspicuous with the emergence of Disneyland across the world. Surprisingly, the mere idea of creating a mouse had given birth to this huge amusement realm. Walt Disney himself had commemorated how it all began.
Moreover, Disneyland has been a pleasant place for decades. For once in our life, we all long to explore this extraordinary grandeur. Now, since the COVID-19 has already occluded several events for this year, staying at home is the only option we currently have. So, one of Disneyland’s admirers, John Daughtery contemplated recreating his memories. For the same, he showed everyone his version of the Disney theme park that he made with the Lego sets.
However, he started constructing the replica back in 2017 and all of these sets were spread across the house; from his bedroom to the dining room. Same as Disney’s context, his idea originated when he brought the Cinderella Castle Lego set. And yes, it wasn’t the hard work itself that he had put in, but also the glorious feeling that.
It isn’t a challenge after all. This 48-year old man from The Colony, Texas feels it equivalent to therapy. Building a single castle was just the beginning. Following the process, he was determined to spend more time and impetus in creating such replicas aplenty. To make 25 different sets, more than 300 hours were consumed. However, the results were so convincing.
COVID-19 has already given enough distress to the entire world. When in this time, we see something that takes away the desolation, it works like a cure to the pain. He decided to assemble all his creations in one place and shared some beautiful snaps on Facebook. The post obviously, got inundated with a lot of appreciation.

The collectanea comprises of a Cinderella Castle, Marvel Land, the Swiss Family Treehouse, Ferris wheel, and also a working Disney train station. And how can the iconic Disney characters be left out? So, Mickey’s camaraderie was also present in the scene. This demonstration was an alternative to Daughtery’s family trip getting reprieved. But it was only possible after the approval of an esteemed person: Daughtery’s wife, Bonnie.
Bonnie doesn’t find her husband’s work so entertaining. However, after putting an arduous effort, she agreed to bring all the Lego sets to the family’s dining room. “I was like, ‘OK, honey, can I clear everything out of the dining room and set it up just for once?’ She said, ‘You better have it picked up by tonight!” said Daughtery. To conclude, the Disney Park looked beautiful in the same way as its original version.
